Service Projects

Help for Haiti

We have collected monetary donations and Health Kits for the United Methodist Committee on Relief. Health Kits contain personal care items, such as soap, hand towels, combs, etc. Together, with the help of our friends at the Discovery Center Preschool and Wesleyan University, KUMC shipped out 97 health kits. One of our members, a Licensed Massage Therapist, raised money by offering free massages in exchange for a donation. We would like to thank everyone for their participation in this project. Donations to UMCOR are welcome at all times. Please visit the above website for information.

Cancelled Stamps Help the Poor

Did you know that cancelled stamps can help the poor and victims of leprosy? We are collecting cancelled stamps to send to the Franciscan Missions working for the poor. So, save your stamps, bring them to church, and place them in the container in the lounge.

Stamps that are marked "Nonprofit org" or "Presorted" do not work, but ANY other stamp will work.

Single stamps can add up to many pounds quickly, so please make it a habit to bring them to church with you.

Food Drive

Our Berlin Food Pantry runs low on food during the spring and summer months. To help them restock, we will be collecting non-perishable food items this month. Please bring a non-perishable food item to the outdoor service on June 13th. Thank you.

Aluminum Tabs, Campbell Soup Labels and Cereal Boxtop Education Coupons

This is a fundraiser to support the church and the Cromwell Children's Home. We are collecting these items on an ongoing basis.
